The Shape of Love &

After reading
some of the work of Dr. Emoto of Japan, I became inspired
to create this piece. Dr. Emoto has become
well known for starting with the profound question, "Does
water have consciousness?" To test this, he exposed
water to different stimuli and then took microscopic
photos of the water crystals that formed when the
water was frozen. What he learned and was able to
show through actual photography is that water does have
consciousness and is very responsive to different stimuli
including to human emotion. Of all the emotions
that Dr. Emoto tested, he found that the most
symmetrical, beautiful and luminescent crystals formed
when exposed to the combination of the emotions of love
and gratitude.
The obvious extension to this finding comes when we remember
that our bodies are approximately 70-80% water and
our brains are 90% water. How do our own
emotions impact the structure of our own "internal"
water?
To the
right is a picture of the Emoto Love and
Gratitude water crystal. To me this is truly
beautiful- it is the very shape and structure of the most
essential substance of physical creation- water. I
consider this "sacred geometry" and in fact it very much
is sacred geometry for those that have studied what that
means.
The two most
obvious forms are the equilateral hexagon which is
composed of six equilateral triangles or twelve right
triangles (30,60,90 degrees). These twelve combined
form the basis of the zodiac and of the clock and
represent a complete and recurring cycle like the day,
the seasons, and even the revolution of planets and
galaxies. Inside the crystal is an unmistakable
"Star of David" form of two perfectly overlapping
equilateral triangles. This symbol- while commonly
associated with Judaism, is in fact of ancient origin and
has many significant meanings that transcend religion or
culture. Some of these meanings include the divine
union of the male and the female principles to create
life, the union of heaven and earth and the Trinity
Godhead in union. Of course more ancient than all
of man's symbolism- going back all the way to the
creation of Earth itself and probably even before that is
WATER and this is the shape that water forms at it's
highest ideal- which is when reflecting pure love and
gratitude- the highest vibration inherent in creation
itself. The colors are chosen to represent harmony
between the two extremes of energy- from deep red of the
1st chakra to the gold that represents enlightenment and
purity. The brown and gold background representing
our connection to earth and heaven mixed harmoniously
together as one which is life when seen from the eyes of
Love and Gratitude.
The meaning I
give to this painting is that it is giving visual
instructions to the very water withni the cells
of my body and brain every time I see it and the
water in my body and brain react to it by aligning
themselves to that divine pattern. Is that a
stretch? Not to me. I believe this painting
can have profound healing and strengthening effects on
all who see it. I personally have two of
these hanging on either side of our bed and
another in my office where I see clients
for coaching and
healing sessions.
This
painting will have a powerful calming and
healing effect wherever it is placed- at home or in the
office. Try it and see how you notice it's
effect.
